Childhood and Adolescent Behavioral Health
Behavioral health disorders are common in childhood but sometimes go unrecognized. Sterling providers can help your child navigate problems such as autism spectrum disorders, depression, eating disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, social anxiety and school avoidance, among many other conditions.

Addiction
Addiction can take many forms, and like many behavioral health conditions, affects not just the individual suffering from the condition, but the whole family. Sterling takes a holistic approach towards helping people with addiction, whether the compulsive condition is a substance use disorder such as alcohol or opiate use disorder, food, gambling or video gaming. Medication assisted treatment is available when indicated.
Women’s Health
From pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder, to post-partum depression, to menopause related mood disorders, there are a number of life stage changes specific to women that require special consideration. Sterling’s providers have an expertise in these areas, and can be part of your team as you navigate these transitions.
Developmental and Age-Related Mental Health
Each stage of the life cycle has its special challenges. Whether you are talking about how a child deals with bullying, the social and academic stresses of adolescence, transitioning from adolescence to young adulthood, gender identity issues, mid life reassessment, retirement, coping with chronic illness, coming to grips with grief, or care giver burn out, Sterling staff are here to help.
Telepsychiatry
If life’s circumstances make it difficult for you to come to us, our providers will come to you via telepsychiatry. This is an especially helpful modality for new mothers, caregivers, people with mobility issues plus others for whom time and transportation issues pose significant obstacles to accessing help.
