Education: Dr. Chen is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist with over 7 years of post-training experience. He received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at UCLA-Kern.

Experience: Dr. Chen has worked for Jackson & Coker for Kern County Mental Health,Ventura County Behavioral Health, Sterling Care Psychiatric Group for Ventura County Behavioral Health, Traditions Behavioral Health for Ventura County Behavioral Health, and Sterling Care Psychiatric Group for Sycamores for Los Angeles County clinics. Dr. Chen is experienced with a wide range of diagnoses including ADHD, ODD, ASD, DMDD, depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, OCD, sleep-wake disorders, gender dysphoria, and substance-related disorders.
