Celia Woods, MD

Psychiatrist

 

President of Sterling Care Group, Dr. Celia Woods is a board certified Psychiatrist and Suboxone certified physician, with over 20 years experience. Dr. Woods attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore and completed her psychiatry residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

 

She was on the faculty in the Department of Psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson University, has taught family medicine residents at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA and has taught family medicine residents locally at Ventura County Medical Center.

 

In addition to her faculty position at Thomas Jefferson University, past positions have included Medical Director, Outpatient Services, Abington Memorial Hospital Department of Psychiatry; Medical Director, Family Based Services, Abington Memorial Hospital Department of Psychiatry; Medical Director, Ventura County Behavioral Health; and she is currently the president of Sterling Care Psychiatric Group.
